Rowans Hospice: Our chosen Charity for our 2026 Golf Day

Our annual charity golf day will be held on 4th June 2026. We have chosen Rowans Hospice as out nominated charity this year, a fantastic organisation who we are proud to support.
Located in the heart of Hampshire, the Rowans Hospice has established itself as a beacon of compassionate care for those facing life-limiting illnesses. Since its inception, the hospice has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families, offering a range of specialist services tailored to individual needs. The hospice provides expert palliative and end-of-life care, ensuring dignity, comfort, and respect at every stage of the journey. The Hospice has 16 beds and is staffed by a team of highly skilled professionals and supported by volunteers. It delivers medical, psychological, and spiritual support within a warm, welcoming environment.
Beyond clinical care, the hospice offers counselling, complementary therapies, and bereavement support, recognising the importance of holistic wellbeing. The Rowans also runs outreach programmes and day services, enabling patients to remain active and connected to their community.
This level of service to the community is not cheap. Rowans Hospice is primarily funded (approximately 78%–85%) through voluntary donations, community fundraising, legacies, retail shops, and a weekly lottery, with about £10 million needed annually. While it provides free care, only a minority of its funding comes from statutory NHS sources. There are 16 Rowans shops across South-East Hampshire manned by
For many in Hampshire, the Rowans Hospice is more than a healthcare facility—it is a place of hope, comfort, and togetherness, where every individual’s story is honoured and supported with compassion.
